There are many ways to revamp a room on a budget, which is great news for those of you who like to change things up often. You don’t always have to shell out for an entire room redo. Sometimes a few easy and inexpensive ideas are all it takes to lend new life and personality to the rooms in your house. Start with one of these ways to revamp a room on a budget, and you’ll see how it easy it is to transform a room at a very little cost.
There’s no rule that says a set has to stay in one place. If you have a few great vases, consider separating them and grouping one with photos and knick-knacks on your living room bookshelf and putting a few blooms in another and displaying it on your kitchen table. Mix and match picture frames and souvenirs from your trips to bring your personality into each of your home’s rooms.
They don’t cost as much as a complete redo and you can often find them on sale. Simply switching from old boring curtains to the bright new ones can really make a big change. For just a few Rands, you can buy great colourful pillowcases and recover your throw pillows to match the curtains or make them accent pieces in your room.
If you’re tired of your gray couch or yellow comforter, buy something new. It’s cheaper than furniture! Try a deep red or dark brown cover on your couch and test out a patchwork quilt on your bed. Put cheery covers on your kitchen chairs or toss a turquoise blanket on your white armchair. It’s easy and fun!
